Last updated: June 29, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to Void Launcher, a launcher application developed by AnonLab. Your privacy is paramount to us. This Privacy Policy details the types of information we collect, how we use it, and the security measures in place to protect it.

By using Void Launcher, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information Collection and Use

Void Launcher is designed to protect your privacy. Most of the application's configuration, settings, and layouts are stored locally on your device. We collect and process minimal data to provide launcher features and service optimizations:

  • Personalization Settings: Layout preferences, launcher themes, custom icons, and dock configurations are saved on your device's private storage.
  • Firebase Services: We use Firebase Services (Remote Config, Realtime Database, and Authentication) to manage app configuration flags, billing status verification (Pro features), Google Sign-In, and shutdown protocols. Any synced accounts or configurations are stored securely within Google's cloud infrastructure.
  • Google Play Billing: To manage in-app purchases and subscriptions for Pro features, Google Play Billing Client is integrated. Billing interactions are handled directly by Google Play.

Device Permissions

To operate effectively as your device's home screen, Void Launcher requests the following permissions:

  • Storage / Media Access: Required to access your wallpapers and customize themes locally.
  • Notification Access: Required to display notification counts or dots on app icons.
  • Query All Packages: Required to list all installed applications on your device so they can be shown in the app drawer.
  • Usage Access (Optional): Used locally to suggest frequently used apps in the search pill or app drawer.

Third-Party Services

We may employ third-party companies and APIs to facilitate our service, perform service-related operations, or assist us in analyzing how our service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose:

  • Google Play Services / Play Integrity API: Used to verify subscription state and ensure binary integrity.
  • Firebase (Google LLC): Used for secure cloud sync, configuration management, and authentication.

Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
